I studied Hebrews chapter 12 earlier in the week and started on James 1 this morning at 4:45. Not sure about the complexity, but James is a tricky book, offering plenty of thoughtful reminiscing elements. It’s about construction of faith, building up and breaking down, perseverance and trials or temptations and how to overcome. Wow, let me say that I deal with this every day. My heart and soul wage a spiritual war, daily, every minute of it, and I want to sing and cry at the same time. It’s almost overwhelming. I love God so much and so enjoy being part of this world, but the thing that lasts an eternity, in its enormity, is cataclysmically untouchable and often causes me pain. I just want to be closer to God. Just want a little more….always. I think eternity will be great and until then, I love digging through the rubble of this life on Earth and rummaging through the closet of my soul for what is deeper and more meaningful.
